Welcome to The New Generation Greening Africa Organization
The New Generation Greening Africa Organization is a non-governmental and not-for-profit organization established in February 2019 in Canada and legally registered in Ethiopia in 2021.
The New Generation Greening Africa Organization is established by Ethiopians and other nationals who are deeply committed to environmental protection in Ethiopia, in Africa and in the world.
Since the year 2019, The New Generation Greening Africa Organization has been implementing a reforestation project in Gejo locality of Burayu Woreda in the Oromia Regional State, located about 45 kilometers along the western outskirts of the capital city, Addis Ababa.

What We Do
Focused on environmental protection activities, our portfolio ranges from greening (mainly reforestation and planting of trees), educating and creating awareness among communities about the environment, economic and social development of local communities, and youth job creation.
Currently, Greening Africa is implementing a tree planting project in Gejo Gefersa area.
We design and implement various intervention projects in close collaboration and participation with donors, the pertinent government departments, civic societies and community organizations within the project intervention area, and the relevant stakeholders.
Our projects are mainly funded by donors, but we do welcome all kinds of supports from domestic and international sources.
